Jason Momoa is shirtless and lathering up in bubbles in the actor's new Super Bowl LIV advertisement for Rocket Mortgage Quicken Loans.
On Friday (January 31), Momoa, 40, took to Instagram to share a longer trailer for his upcoming TV spot and the silly concept sees him trade his usually stoic demeanor of something a little more playful. He relaxes in a bubble bath. He speaks into a pink hair brush. He flips through a romance novel. "But you’ve never seen Jason Momoa like this," he says in the mirror. Expect to see more of Momoa when his full commercial for the big game airs on Sunday.
"Been an epic week but we’re just getting started. Can’t wait for everyone to see me #getcomfortable on Sunday ALOHA J," he captioned the post.
Speaking about the concept for the ad, Quicken Loans CMO Casey Hurbis said it was Rocket Mortgage's idea to recruit the star. "They pitched us this idea very early on with Jason in it; we fell in love," Hurbis told Ad Week.
Expect even more friendly faces when Super Bowl LIV sees the 49ers and the Chiefs face off during the championship game at the Hard Rock Stadium. The game begins at 6:30 pm ET on FOX.
